Instructor Guard and Supervising Instructor Guard:
To safeguard life and prevent accidents at the County swimming pools and to teach swimming programs and promote good relations with users of the facilities.Responsible for safety supervision, class management, and risk management during the instructional classes.Works according to Occupational Health and Safety Act, Lifesaving Society Standards, and corporate policies and procedures.Provide instruction to individuals and groups in organized instructional classes .Prepare lesson plans, organize equipment, teach and evaluate swim classes in accordance with the standards established by the Lifesaving Society and Norfolk County. Classes may also include advanced leadership courses, aquafitness and mobility programs.Complete all documentation related to class instruction such as but not limited to attendance, completing report cards, and inputti...
