Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (MA/MS) or higher in the Design disciplines or closely related from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent accreditation with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline.
  • Demonstrated evidence of ability to teach formal design principles, design processes and creative problem solving.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of teaching experience at undergraduate level.
  • Evidence of ability to work with professional design studios or non-profit organizations and build relationships for internships and student careers.
  • Broad-based expertise in modern and contemporary issues in digital art.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of major concepts, assumptions, debates, processes of inquiry, and ways of knowing that are central to the discipline(s).
