Instructor, Medical Radiologic Technology (MRT)

Responsibilities

1. Select, design, update and construct educational courses and lab aids/materials.
2. Prepare and deliver lessons, assignments, lectures and demonstrations for educational purposes.
3. Supervise students in classroom, clinical, labs, tours, etc. May involve travel.
4. Evaluate students through the use of exams, assignments and observations and to record student progress.
5. Counsel students and prospective students on matters pertaining to the program and job opportunities.

Qualifications

1. Degree or Diploma in Medical Radiology Technology with active registration and current licensure with the applicable national and/or provincial regulatory body.
2. Minimum of two years of recent, relevant experience as a Medical Radiology Technology (MRT) in a Canadian imaging department.
