Instrument Design Engineer

SERVILINK SYSTEMS LIMITED is hiring an Instrument Design Engineer.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

1. Bachelor of Engineering preferably Instrumentation or Electronics stream on first attempt preferably distinction grade.
2. 2- 6 Years experience mainly in field instrumentation-related companies
3. Technically sound in the field of instrumentation.
4. Hands-on experience in MS Office, Email communication, etc.
5. Leading a team of Engineers in the future.
6. Fluency in English & Hindi.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY:

1. Understand customer technical requirements, Review Customer specifications, prepare technical bids, do site surveys on customer requirements, etc.
2. Float an inquiry to instrument suppliers on the techno-commercial quote
3. Preparation of Instrument Index. Understanding of P&ID Diagram.
4. Preparation of Specifications sheet / technical data sheet for Instrumentation (Temperature, Pressure, Flow, Analyzers, safety systems & sensors, etc.).
5. Knowledge of Instrumentation (Temperature, Pressure, Flow, Analyzers, safety systems & sensors, etc.) for selection based on application.
6. Knowledge of DCS/PLC, ESD system, and SIS system.
7. Preparation of I/O list, loop Diagram, Logic Diagram, Cause & Effect Diagram and matrix, Alarm & Trip list.
8. Preparation of construction documents, control room layout, Instrument location layout, Tray layout, Junction Box & Air header layout, hook-up documents.
9. Preparation/checking of Instrument Cable schedule, wiring diagram, etc.
10. Preparation of TCS (Technical Comparison sheet) for Field Instruments and hardware such as Cable tray, cable, Junction Box, Air Header, tubes & Fittings, etc.
11. Preparation of BOM for Instrumentation.
12. Supervise site installation activity as & when required.
