Insight Global is looking for an Instrumentation and Reliability Engineer to work in Borger, TX for one of our chemical manufacturing clients. This engineer will support two attached plants (Flash and Clinch) and collaborate closely with the electrical lead and mechanical lead on small capital projects such as installing recycle mash lines, head tanks, valves, and transmitters—without responsibility for DCS work. Each day begins with a conference call alongside operations and maintenance teams to review planned and emergency jobs, determine electrical or mechanical needs, and assist instrumentation techs with calibrations and procedure development. The role involves updating and verifying BOMs, using SAP to manage inventory and failure data, and modernizing legacy instrumentation systems including level transmitters, radars, gauges, pressure transmitters, and gas analyzers.
