Insurance AR Collections Specialist

$18–$20/hr + Monthly Bonus |  In-Office 



We are a multi-location service company seeking an Insurance Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to manage follow-up on insurance invoices and customer balances. This role requires strong communication, organization, and experience working with insurance carriers or similar billing environments.




Responsibilities

• Follow up with insurance carriers, adjusters, TPAs, and customers regarding outstanding payments


• Track AR aging and maintain detailed documentation of all collection activity


• Request any missing paperwork needed to release payment


• Communicate professionally by phone and email to resolve billing questions


• Provide weekly updates on progress and results

Qualifications

• 2+ years AR or collections experience


• Experience with insurance or medical billing is strongly preferred


• Persistent, organized, and comfortable managing a high volume of accounts


• Able to work independently and meet performance goals

Compensation & Work Environment

• 
  $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience
