Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney

gpac (The #1 Recruiting Firm in the Nation) is partnering with a well-established Florida law firm representing individual and corporate policyholders in complex insurance coverage disputes to identify an experienced Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney to join its growing team in Miami and Orlando.

This role is fully in-office for the first six months, followed by eligibility for a hybrid work schedule based on performance and firm needs.

Position: Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney (2–6 Years)

About the Role

This attorney will handle policyholder-side insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, working on complex commercial insurance disputes and high-stakes coverage matters. The role offers meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure, and the opportunity to grow within a sophisticated insurance litigation practice.

Responsibilities

• Litigate insurance coverage and bad faith matters on behalf of policyholders
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses
• Analyze policy language and coverage positions
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
• Manage cases from inception through resolution
• Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation strategy

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of litigation experience
• Experience in insurance coverage, insurance defense, or complex commercial litigation preferred
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple active matters
• Florida Bar admission required
• Interest in long-term growth within a policyholder-side practice

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 depending on experience
