This role offers a hybrid work arrangement after an initial onboarding period and is ideal for attorneys seeking consistent litigation exposure, long-term stability, and a collaborative defense-oriented environment.

Position: Insurance Defense Attorney

About the Role

The attorney will defend insureds and carriers in a variety of insurance defense matters, including general liability, premises liability, personal injury, and related civil litigation. The role provides hands-on responsibility managing cases from inception through resolution.

Responsibilities

• Defend insurance defense litigation matters from intake through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Appear at hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
• Communicate with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel
• Manage case strategy, deadlines, and reporting requirements

Qualifications

• 2–7+ years of insurance defense litigation experience
• Experience with general liability, premises liability, or related defense matters
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Deposition and motion practice experience preferred
• Arizona Bar admission required
• Ability to work in a hybrid role
