About the Role: Intake Coordinator
The Intake Coordinator acts as the first point of contact for individuals seeking help. You help families navigate difficult decisions with clarity, empathy, and professionalism — while ensuring seamless, compliant admissions.
Key Accountabilities
Receive, respond to, and convert client enquiries into admissions.
Complete all legally required pre‑admission documentation.
Ensure high‑quality, ethical communication that reflects Samarpan’s values.
Responsibilities
Client Enquiries & Admissions
Respond immediately to all enquiries from potential clients and families.
Conduct triage and admission assessments for prospective clients.
Verify clinical and financial eligibility for admission.
Maintain accurate enquiry trackers for follow‑up and conversion.
Participate in on‑call rotations for after‑hours enquiries.
Coordinate admissions with Recovery Specialists and Client Services staff.
Documentation & Compliance
Ensure all legally required documentation is completed prior to admission.
Document enquiries, assessments, and admissions to support monthly reporting.
Stakeholder & Referral Management
Build and maintain professional relationships with Psychiatrists, Doctors, referrers, and mental health professionals.
Liaise with families throughout the pre‑admission and admission process.
Attend conferences and develop a robust referral network.
Program & Team Support
Lead and develop the Alumni Program.
Train and guide CSR staff handling intake‑related duties.
Line‑manage Client Services Representatives.
Organize Samarpan Family Day and facilitate educational workshops for families.
Conduct individual or group sessions with clients when required.
Support content creation for sales and marketing (brochures, blogs, social media, conference material).
Coordinate collection of outcome measures and client‑experience data, and prepare quarterly reports using internal tools.
Qualifications
Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Psychology.
Required Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Hindi.
Strong ability to work independently and deliver high‑quality results with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Preferred Skills
Flexibility to respond to enquiries beyond regular working hours.
Compensation
Competitive salary consisting of a fixed component + performance‑based incentive tied to admissions.
