A prominent Federal Government agency is seeking an experienced API Integration Support Specialist (Integration Analyst) to join their dynamic Digital Services team. The API Integration Support Specialist (Integration Analyst) will be offered an initial 5-month contract with a 12-month extension, open to candidates in NSW, with flexible hybrid work arrangements available.

The successful API Integration Support Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Manage API lifecycle: register, configure, and maintain APIs using MuleSoft and IBM API Connect.

• Monitor and troubleshoot: conduct API testing, monitor performance, and resolve issues with technical teams and vendors.

• Provide technical support: assist with authentication problems, prepare reports/dashboards, and maintain documentation.

• Apply best practices: follow ITIL methodology for incident management and service requests.

• Collaborate in Agile delivery: participate in daily stand-ups, sprints, and contribute to system improvements.

To be successful, the API Integration Support Specialist will demonstrate:

• 2–3 years’ experience in API integration and related technologies.

• Strong understanding of API concepts with adaptability to complex environments.

• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum and DevOps, including CI/CD support.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; MuleSoft or IBM API Connect experience desirable.
