Integration Developer role focusing on IBM Integration Bus (IIB) and App Connect Enterprise (ACE) typically emphasizes designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise integration solutions. These roles are common in Malaysia's IT sector, particularly in Kuala Lumpur, for industries like insurance and finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop integration solutions using IBM IIB or ACE (v12/v13), including message flows, ESQL, Java, and mapping technologies like XML/XSLT.
• Collaborate with business analysts for requirements, perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and deploy BAR files with IBM MQ integration.
• Prepare technical documentation, ensure scalable solutions, and support Agile/DevOps practices in hybrid or cloud environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Core Technical

IBM IIB/ACE development (3-6+ years), IBM MQ, integration patterns, ESQL, Java, SQL, REST/SOAP APIs.

Tools & Platforms

CP4I on OpenShift (preferred), BAR file management, CI/CD (Jenkins/Git).

Education & Soft Skills

Bachelor’s in CS/IT, strong problem-solving, communication; insurance domain experience a plus.

Experience Level

Mid-to-senior level with 3-10 years in middleware/integration, suitable for Malaysia-based roles in technical recruitment. Certifications in IBM ACE/CP4I enhance candidacy.
