Integration Expert/Data Archiving

Responsible for overseeing and directing data integration activities, ensuring optimised and meet the data requirements:

• Data Sourcing: Identify optimum sourcing & integration strategy ensuring clarity of data requirements
• Data Ingestion: Move and combine data from one or more sources through the creation of sustainable integration routines & methods
• Data Collaboration: Work with other areas of data governance to determine optimum approach for data preparation and associated systemic cleaning
• Data Product Delivery: Deliver data packets which support operational cutover, DQ improvements and analytics-ready data science exploitation
• Project Delivery: Oversees, directs colleagues and participates in delivery of integration activities and documents them and any resulting KDDs
• SQL Execution: Ability to follow SQL standards and write and execute successful SQL

Knowledge & Experience

• Knowledge of Alation & Anomalo data governance tools
• Operational and source systems table access and manipulation ServiceNow, Workday etc)
• Variety of integration methods including ETL, virtualisation both in batch and near real time
• Data analysis, profiling & discovery
• Expert-level understanding of working with data models
• Creating dashboards & workflows (powerBI etc.)
• Creating analytics and insight in a DQ setting (powerBI)
• Profiling and analysis skills (Anomalo)
• Solid understanding of data change methods incl. catalogues, glossaries and models
• Persuading, influencing and communication at a senior level
• Experience across both operational and analytics / science settings
