Role Description – Intellectual Property Legal Associate
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Intellectual Property Legal Associate based in Rajkot. The Associate will work closely with senior attorneys and partners on a wide range of IP, corporate and litigation matters.
The role includes:
Handling Trademark, Copyright, Design and Patent matters
Drafting, filing and prosecuting IP applications and replies
Conducting IP searches, oppositions, objections and enforcement actions
Drafting legal notices, pleadings, contracts and advisory opinions
Supporting IP litigation, raids and brand-protection actions
Advising startups and companies on IP strategy and compliance
Coordinating with government offices, courts, and IP authorities
This role offers hands-on exposure to real clients, real disputes, and real business challenges in the IP and startup ecosystem.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Law and Intellectual Property Law
Working knowledge of Trademark, Copyright, Design and Patent Law
Experience or interest in Patent preparation and prosecution
Ability to handle IP filings, responses, and legal drafting
Strong legal research, analysis and writing skills
Excellent communication and coordination abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative on-site environment
Law degree (LL. B., LL. M.)
