Job Description
A high-profile Federal Government department is seeking an experienced Interaction Designer who will be working in a high-performing digital multidisciplinary team to design and deliver a data visualisation tool. You will work closely with other Designers in the team and take guidance or instructions as needed. The successful Interaction Designer will be offered an initial contract until June 2026 with the view to be extended and receive a rewarding hourly rate.
The successful Interaction Designer will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Design user interfaces and interactions which meet stakeholder and audience needs.
- Ensure UI Kit is up-to-date and consistently applied across all products.
- Conduct usability testing and iterate based on stakeholder feedback.
- Knowledge transfer plan and future developments
