Job Title: 2D Space Planning Executive / 2D Space Planner

Work Mode: On-Site

Working Days: 6days

Interview Mode - Complete Face to Face only (No Virtual Interviews).


Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented 2D Space Planning Executive to develop efficient space layouts and detailed 2D drawings for commercial interiors. The role involves preparing space plans, construction drawings, site drawings, and validating designs as per site conditions and project requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare 2D space planning layouts based on client requirements, area programs, and design standards.
  • Develop detailed 2D drawings including floor plans, partition layouts, furniture layouts, and workstation plans.
  • Create site drawings for execution such as: Furniture & workstation layouts, Partition and wall layouts, Electrical & data coordination layouts (basic), Ceiling reference layouts (CRP – basic).
  • Conduct site validations to ensure drawings match actual site conditions.
  • Identify site constraints and update drawings accordingly.
  • Coordinate with interior designers, project managers, engineers, and vendors for drawing approvals.
  • Revise drawings based on site feedback and execution requirements.
  • Maintain drawing standards, legends, and documentation as per company guidelines.
  • Support BOQ preparation and area calculations when required.


Skills & Competencies

  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D).
  • Good understanding of space planning norms, circulation, and ergonomics.
  • Knowledge of commercial office layouts / coworking spaces preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and site drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic understanding of interior fit-out execution.
  • Good coordination and communication skills.


Qualifications

  • Diploma / bachelor’s degree in architecture, Interior Design, or Civil Engineering.
  • 0–3 years of experience in 2D space planning or interior drafting.
  • Freshers with strong AutoCAD skills can also apply.


Tools & Software

  • AutoCAD (Mandatory).
  • Knowledge of 3DsMax (optional – added advantage).


Work Environment

  • Commercial office / coworking projects
  • Site visits required for validations and measurements
