Interior Designer

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer (3D & 2D) to join our design and project team. This role is ideal for a creative professional who is confident in producing both technical drawings and visual presentations, while also supporting project execution from design development through site completion.

You will work closely with project managers, consultants, and site teams to translate concepts into accurate drawings and high-quality built outcomes, ensuring compliance with design intent, budgets, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate conceptual ideas, sketches, and project briefs into comprehensive 2D drawings and 3D visual presentations.
• Prepare detailed layout plans, construction drawings, and shop drawings using CAD and related design software.
• Produce coordinated drawings for structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works in alignment with project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure design accuracy and constructability.
• Update and refine drawings to reflect design changes, site conditions, and client feedback.
• Coordinate with site vendors and monitor progress to ensure alignment with approved designs and schedules.
• Track project costs and support the project team in maintaining expenditure within approved budgets.
• Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors as required.
• Conduct inspections of off-site fabrication and on-site installation to ensure quality and compliance.
• Review completed works, identify defects, and ensure rectification is completed prior to inspections and handover.
• Carry out additional duties related to design and project support as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as an Interior Designer, supported by a strong portfolio demonstrating both 2D documentation and 3D visualization work.
• Sound understanding of Singapore building regulations, codes, and construction practices.
• Strong creative thinking skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and support project delivery in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant 3D rendering or visualization tools.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across design and site teams.
