Intermediate Accountant

Are you interested in living in the province's sunniest city? Our client, based out of Cranbrook, the largest city in the BC's Kootenay region and BC's sunniest city, is looking to hire an Intermediate Accountant for their growing group of businesses.

The Intermediate Accountant will support the Senior Accountant and CFO with month-end financial reporting, month-end journal entries, reconciliations for bank accounts and G/L accounts. Additional duties include helping to maintain the fixed asset register by recording additions, disposals, depreciation entries, as well assisting with accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, account, intercompany and bank reconciliations. The Intermediate Accountant will also assist with monthly tax remittances, support inventory and fixed asset accounting processes.
