Intern-Content Writer

Internship Overview:

We’re offering a 4-month internship opportunity for a passionate SEO Content Writer Intern who’s equally enthusiastic about skincare and storytelling. This role is designed for someone who wants hands-on experience in creating impactful, benefit-led content while learning how to blend creativity with SEO strategies. You’ll gain exposure to content creation across multiple formats — from website copy to digital campaigns — and work closely with the Brand, Marketing, Website, and Design teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write compelling product descriptions, ingredient explainers, and benefit-led content for the website, packaging, and new launches
• Conceptualize and draft short-form scripts for brand videos, social media reels, and influencer collaborations (teasers, brand stories, campaigns, etc.)
• Create engaging and educational content for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Twitter, aligned with Deconstruct’s brand voice
• Develop catchy taglines, hooks, captions, and call-to-actions that resonate with the target audience
• Assist in drafting and optimizing emailers, ad copies, SMS, and push notifications for customer engagement
• Work with the SEO/content team to integrate keywords and optimize copy performance
• Collaborate with creative producers, designers, and editors to bring campaign ideas to life
• Stay updated on skincare trends, consumer behavior, and new content formats/tools
• Revise and refine content based on team feedback

Must-Haves:

• Interest in pursuing a career in copywriting/content writing, preferably with exposure to D2C, skincare, beauty, wellness, or personal care brands/agencies
• Strong knowledge/interest in skincare products, routines, and ingredients with the ability to simplify scientific concepts
• Flair for writing both promotional copy and longer-form educational content
• Excellent command over English, with the ability to write crisp, grammatically sound, and impactful copy
• Comfort working across formats: web, social media, email, video, and product content
• Creative yet structured approach, with strong collaboration skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and openness to exploring AI-driven tools like Runway ML, Clipdrop, etc.
