Job Description
We are looking for an Intern - Engineer that seeks to join a talented group of professionals to promote thriving communities by applying technology to solve complex issues in transportation. The ideal candidate will work, in partnership with Iteris Engineering staff, with state, regional, and local agencies to deliver various transportation engineering and planning projects to improve our communities.
What you will be doing:
+ Assisting project engineers with transportation engineering or planning projects including fieldwork, design, analysis, preparation of presentations, graphics and other support tasks as needed
+ Candidate will be trained and considered for the Assistant Engineer position in Chicago, IL upon completion of the internship
+ The ideal candidate should possess basic MicroStation skills to directly assist in plan preparation for existing projects (IDOT D1 Design, Joliet ATMS etc.)
