About the Role
Are you an ambitious individual looking to start your career in IT sales? Byte Nex is seeking a motivated Intern to support our business development efforts across consulting and staffing services. This is an onsite-only position with no remote or work-from-home option, requiring your presence at our office during your chosen shift. You will work closely with senior leaders, gain hands-on exposure to the end-to-end sales & marketing process, and build foundational skills in prospecting, client engagement, and IT services sales.
Key Responsibilities (Intern – IT Staffing & Consulting)
- Support the team in identifying and researching potential clients within IT consulting and staffing markets
- Assist with outbound prospecting activities, including email outreach, cold calling, Linked In engagement, and lead qualification
- Maintain and update CRM records with accurate prospect, pipeline, and activity data
- Help prepare collaterals such as pitch decks, proposals, and basic capability presentations
- Coordinate with senior leaders to schedule meetings, follow-ups, and client calls
- Learn and understand Byte Nex’s service offerings across staffing, consulting, and technology solutions
- Track activities, responses, and outcomes to support reporting and performance analysis
- Stay informed on basic technology trends and client needs within platforms such as Salesforce, Hub Spot, and related ecosystems
Qualifications (Intern – Entry Level)
- Bachelor’s degree (completed) in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field
- Strong interest in IT services, consulting, and staffing sales & marketing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a willingness to learn consultative selling
- Comfortable using Linked In, email, and basic productivity tools
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work onsite and collaborate closely with a fast-paced team
- Self-motivated, curious, and eager to build a career in B2 B technology sales & marketing
- Prior internship, sales & marketing exposure, or campus leadership experience is a plus, but not mandatory
