About the Role

We are looking for a creative, hacky, and resourceful intern to help us build the base station (an IoT device to transmit data to the cloud) for BellyButton , our Bluetooth-enabled breathing movement monitor. This isn't just a coding job—it’s a role for a tinkerer who loves making hardware talk to the cloud and creating tactile, interactive experiences with lights and sound.

Key Responsibilities

  • ESP32 Development: Program ESP32 modules to interface with our wearable via Bluetooth (BLE).

  • Cloud Connectivity: Sync real-time data from the base station to the cloud.

  • Hardware Interaction: Wire up and code peripherals including RGB LEDs (NeoPixels), buzzers/speakers, and sensors.

  • PCB Design: Use EasyEDA, KiCad, or Altium to design simple, functional PCBs for the base station prototype.
