Marketing and Communications Intern - Los Angeles Office AC Martin, Inc. is an innovative, award-winning architecture and interior design firm with offices in Los Angeles, Sacramento, the Bay Area, and San Diego. The AC Martin Internship Program aims to enrich students' education through year-round internship opportunities. Our extensive experience in architecture, interiors, planning, and marketing for the AEC industry provides hands-on experience through collaboration with our marketing and design teams and clients. POSITION SUMMARY As a Marketing and Communications Intern, you will help tell the firm's story, highlighting its design work, ideas, and impact. You will collaborate closely with marketing and design teams to create polished written and visual materials used in proposals, presentations, and internal communications, gaining hands-on experience in a creative, design-driven environment. What You'll Help With (and learn along the way) Support the creation of proposals, presentations, and marketing materials Help turn project stories, visuals, and ideas into clear and engaging content Research potential projects using public websites and their available planning documents Contribute to written content and learn how marketing and communications strategy comes together Help manage and organize digital files and visual assets Support internal communications and company events What You'll Gain Hands-on experience in marketing and communications for a professional services firm Exposure to design, architecture, and the built environment Collaboration with designers, marketers, and project teams Real-world experience creating materials used for proposals and client pursuits A stronger portfolio and practical skills you can carry into your career What We're Looking For You must be currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Architecture, or a related field Interest in marketing, design, and storytelling Comfortable with Adobe InDesign; some experience with Photoshop or Illustrator is helpful, but not required Strong writing skills and attention to detail Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Willing to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively Interest in architecture, design, or the built environment is a plus Experience with photography, video, or other creative tools is a bonus, but not required COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Alternative work schedule of 40 hours per week based on a 4 ½-day workweek Hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home, and half-day on Fridays Group Medical, Dental, and Vision plans with HSA and FSA options Company-paid Life and AD&D coverage 401(k) savings plan and company match Employee Assistance Program Company paid time off and holidays Paid monthly parking EEO EMPLOYER All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, age, marital status, national origin, disability, or any other consideration made unlawful by law.
