[What the role is]
Established in 1988, Tote Board is a statutory board of the Ministry of Finance. As a broad-based grantmaker, Tote Board strives to achieve its vision of “A Caring and Resilient Singapore” by providing grants to support projects that encourage healthy lives, create empowered communities, foster a cohesive society and make Singapore a liveable home.[What you will be working on]
Working alongside the Planning & Performance Department within the Grants Division, the intern will support projects to refine Tote Board’s grantmaking strategies, policies and frameworks to create meaningful social change through impact giving.
This includes:
conducting a research scan for emerging trends across six non-profit sectors in Singapore (i.e. community development, social service, arts and culture, health, education and sports);
analysing best practices on how local and global philanthropy organ...
