Job Description
The Role:
As an IT Recruiter Intern, you will be responsible for assisting in the end-to-end recruitment process for IT roles. You will gain practical exposure to sourcing strategies, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and learning IT tools used in recruitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, and other networking platforms.
- Learn and leverage Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other IT recruitment tools.
- Screen resumes and conduct preliminary assessments to ensure candidate fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain and update candidate databases and recruitment trackers.
- Work closely with senior recruiters and account managers on live client requirements.
- Learn basic technical jargon and trends in IT staffing to better evaluate candidates.
Ideal Profile:
Requirements
- Must be fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree (preferred, not mandatory).
- Basic understanding of technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud, databases, networking).
- Willingness to learn new IT tools and recruitment techniques.
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a remote setup.
