International Business Development

Role Summary:

We are looking for a confident, client-focused professional to join our International Business team and help grow our cross-border insurance placements. This role is all about building relationships with clients and brokers globally, identifying opportunities, and delivering insurance solutions that meet international standards. You’ll represent Edme with confidence, drive business growth, and collaborate across teams to ensure smooth execution. International travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and brokers across international markets.
• Identify new business opportunities and support the growth of international placements.
• Manage global broker network, ensuring strong collaboration and optimal delivery for clients.
• Oversee account management for existing clients while driving new sales and acquiring new accounts.
• Ensure seamless execution of insurance solutions for clients outside India.
• Collaborate internally to provide timely, effective service and follow through on commitments.
• Bring a proactive, growth-oriented mindset to help expand Edme’s international business footprint.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Mid-level: 4–5 years of experience in insurance or reinsurance; Senior level: 8–10 years.
• Strong understanding of insurance concepts and solutions.
• Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with international clients and brokers.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills and a results-driven approach.
