Scope of Task:
  • Advice on Defence's obligations under United States (US) and other foreign export controls;
  • Sound decision-making and judgement on strategic and international policy advice as it relates to international export controls;
  • In-depth knowledge of arms regulations, strategic and international policy as it relates to international export controls;
  • Complex problem-solving skills for the management of sensitive projects that impact on strategic, political or operational outcomes for Defence and the Commonwealth of Australia (CoA);
  • Assistance with the development of applications seeking authorisation from the US government to re-export and re-transfer US-controlled defense articles to third parties in support of Defence acquisition, sustainment ...
