abroad. Since 2018, they have been providing peace of mind to travelers around more than 150 
worldwide destinations. They are a young and international team of over 500 people based 
all around the world working to provide stress-free experiences for all travelers.  
About the Position
As International Growth Lead, your mission will be to internationalize the company, enabling our client to reach new heights globally. You will spearhead their efforts to make the company a local leader in every market they enter. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record in international expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:  Define and implement a comprehensive international growth strategy. Define a scalable and replicable market penetration strategy.
  • Market Prioritization:  Analyze and prioritize target markets based on potential, competition, and strategic fit, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
  • Localization Strategy:  Determine what it means to be "internationalized" in each market, setting a localization success key result.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination:  Collaborate with product, marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of the international expansion strategy.
  • Ownership of Local Expansion:  Lead the charge in entering new markets, overseeing all aspects of local market launches, from regulatory compliance to go-to-market strategies.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in international business development and growth, or expansion roles,  in a fast-growing tech or e-commerce company.
  • English Proficiency:  Proficient in English, both written and spoken, as it will be the primary language of communication within the team and across markets.
  • Strategic Vision:  Strong strategic thinking with a proven track record of developing and executing successful international growth strategies.
  • Leadership:  Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams toward a common goal.
  • Analytical Skills:  Strong analytical abilities to evaluate market opportunities and make data-driven decisions. Autonomy and ability to make data driven decisions.
  • Adaptability:  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Cultural Competence:  Deep understanding of diverse cultures and markets, with a global mindset and the ability to adapt strategies to local contexts.
  • Communication:  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with frameworks and courses:  Growth Loops, Opportunity Solution Tree, the Product Expansion course from Reforge, or surprise us with something new
