Maire – a company listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, leading an engineering Group operating in around 50 countries with approximately 50 operating companies, which develops and implements innovative technologies to support the energy transition and offers Sustainable Technology Solutions and Integrated E&C Solutions for fertilizers, hydrogen, CO₂ capture, fuels, chemicals, and polymers – is looking for a International Labor Law Compliance Specialist to join the Human Resource Division of the Company.


Main Activities & Responsibilities:

International Labor Law Compliance Specialist, following the guidelines of the Manager, will be responsible for ensuring labor law compliance activities in accordance with local regulations and Group policies, with the following responsibilities:


  • Drafting and reviewing documents related to personnel management processes for foreign Branches/Companies, ensuring that documentation complies with both local regulations and the company’s internal policies;
  • Drafting and reviewing documentation for employees on international assignments at foreign Branches/Companies, ensuring that documentation complies with both local regulations and the company’s internal policies;
  • Ensure the knowledge of local regulations and its updates and share the information with colleagues/relevant Functions;
  • Ensure the update of Labor Law Country Knowledge DataBase;
  • Maintain an updated archive of all legal and contractual documents related to foreign personnel/seconded personnel;
  • Ensure confidentiality and protection of sensitive data;
  • Support in providing advice on queries and offer solutions for emerging legal challenges across different jurisdictions in compliance with the group document management system (i.e. code of ethics, privacy policy guidance);
  • Organize training sessions for HR Stakeholders on both: local regulations and company policies;
  • Ensure the analysis of the risks based on the KPIs and propose mitigation/corrective actions to the Responsible to be implemented;
  • Ensure the preparation of the pertinent informative materials and operational guidelines.


Requirements and skills:

  • Master’s Degree in Law;
  • At least 2 years of previous experience in Legal Departments or Human Resources Departments of listed companies or large organizations with an international scope;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Proactivity and ability to work in a team;
  • Fluent English (written and spoken);
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite.
