Job Description
The Logistics Support Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless logistics operations in all shipments related processes, starting from the shipment export and booking, and ending with the shipment job locking and client invoicing. The Operator must also fix errors on failed EDI resolutions, approve or deny the costs to be paid to vendors and fill all needed information on the client's customer reports.
Role Responsibilities
Accurately enter shipment information into the client's system and validate details for precision.
Respond to any operational issues by correcting or escalating the necessary information.
Create BOLs for pickups to facilitate dispatch operations.
Update and monitor load statuses daily and on any specific requested frequency.
Consult rate sheets to confirm service details and ensure accurate billing and cost management.
Create billing packets to ensure comprehensive documentation for invoicing.
