Job Description
The main purpose of the internship is to provide the holder with an opportunity to gain practical work experience in an international organization. The training provided should benefit the intern and the divisional programme in which he/she works.
Functions / Key Results Expected
Support the daily production of the Internal News Review, including scanning specific online resources for news items about the IAEA, nuclear matters and other issues affecting the IAEA and compiling these into a package under the supervision and guidance of a Press Officer for eventual delivery to the Director General in the early morning.
Scan multilingual news, starting in the afternoon and concluding early in the morning under time pressure to meet delivery deadlines.
Further support the daily production of the Internal News Review by keeping abreast of news in general and alerting Press Officers to matters of interest.
