:As an interoperability specialist, you will work alongside a team of international experts in technology, business, and the US healthcare industry.
  • Your key responsibilities

    As an interoperability specialist, you ensure seamless integration and communication between diverse US healthcare IT systems, such as EHRs and medical devices.

    In your role, you will collaborate with clinical teams, administrators, and other US healthcare professionals to prioritize and address health-specific interoperability challenges.

    As technical expert, you evaluate and recommend US healthcare-specific interoperability standards and frameworks suitable for specific client needs.

    Additionally, you will coordinate with vendors and external partners to ensure integration solutions are consistent and reliable, as well as provide training and support in business development.

    Proficiency in knowing and understanding SQL queries and stored procedures for data manipulation, extraction, and transformation in relational databases (e.g., SQL Server)

    Skills and attributes for success

    1. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills for both technical and business audiences.

    2. Fluency in English (written and verbal) is a pre-requisite.

    3. Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.

    4. Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal stakeholders and clients on integration best practices, standards compliance, and system interoperability.

    5. Ability to work under tight timelines for multiple project deliveries in parallel.

    6. Collaborate with third-party vendors, partners, and external stakeholders to ensure interoperability requirements are met and integration interfaces are effectively implemented.

    7. Document configurations, and processes, and contribute to the development of technical documentation, training materials, and knowledge base articles.

    8. Provide realistic work estimates, deliver in timely manner and collaborate with other team members.

    9. Report potential roadblocks and scope issues that may affect deadlines to the Manager.

    10.Contribute to the product development and innovation process and brainstorming sessions.

    11.Configuring and managing the API Gateway within API Connect to route API requests and handle authentication/authorization.

    12.Good Knowledge on CCDA and Direct Messaging .

    Skills and attributes for success

    > Fluency in English, means being able to speak or write the language smoothly and easily, without pausing or hesitating to think about grammar, vocabulary, or pronunciation.

    It's about being able to express yourself clearly and effectively. It will help in creating technical documentation, training materials, and knowledge base articles and also, while interacting with clients and third party vendors.

    > Someone with strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills who can provide technical expertise and guidance to clients and stakeholders (Integration best practices, standards compliance, and system interoperability).

    > Good Knowledge on CCDA, Direct Messaging and configuring and managing the API Gateway within API Connect to route API requests and handle authentication/authorization.

    > Contribute to the product development and innovation process and brainstorming sessions, report potential roadblocks and scope issues that may affect deadlines to the Manager.

    > Collaborate with third-party vendors, partners, and external stakeholders to ensure interoperability requirements are met and integration interfaces are effectively implemented.

    Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related discipline. Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.

    Experience Required: 2+ years of experience in software engineering or technical client support.2+ years of experience in a customer facing environment.
