Interventional Radiology Tech | Aurora, Colorado

A specialized opportunity is available for an Interventional Radiology Technologist to provide expert imaging support at a well-established medical center in Aurora, Colorado. This role is a contract position that offers hands-on experience with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within a supportive and fast-paced department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform complex Interventional Radiology imaging procedures including drains, tumor ablation, sirspheres, and spine jack treatments
• Operate state-of-the-art GE imaging equipment with high proficiency
• Collaborate efficiently with a multidisciplinary team of nurses and physicians in a fast-paced environment
• Manage patient care and communication effectively during stressful situations
• Maintain accurate documentation within the Meditech electronic medical record system

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• VI certification or Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology (CVIR) certification is required
• Experience working in a neuro or thrombectomy center highly preferred
• Proven ability to perform a broad range of IR procedures from basic to complex cases
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to adapt quickly and maintain poise under pressure

Schedule:

• Day shift: 7:00 AM 5:30 PM
• On-call availability during nights
