Job Description
A highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist position is available on a 6-week contract in Charlotte, NC. This role is designed for techs proficient in imaging with specific expertise in Interventional Radiology (IR). The position requires strong clinical confidence and excellent communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced, high patient acuity hospital setting.

Responsibilities:
- Perform interventional radiology procedures using advanced imaging equipment including Siemens single-plane, Siemens bi-plane, and Cannon bi-plane systems.
- Provide high-quality patient care to adults and pediatrics in a Level I Trauma, teaching hospital environment.
- Collaborate effectively within a diverse radiology team including lead techs, modality supervisors, and department managers.
- Maintain compliance with all hospital protocols, including use of EPIC electronic medical records.
- Participate in call rotation shared fairly among full-time, part-time, PRN, and traveler staff.
- Support holiday coverage as required with advance approvals for time off.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of IR Tech experience; first-time travelers are welcome.
- ARRT-R certification and current BLS required.
- Ability to work confidently under fast-paced, complex clinical conditions.
- Strong teamwork orientation and excellent communication skills.
Schedule/Hours:
- 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM.
- No weekend rotations; travelers remain on assigned day shifts per contract.
- On-call duties vary by fair rotation within the department.
- Holiday coverage expected unless pre-approved time off is granted.
