Interventional Radiology Technologist - Denver, CO

A healthcare opportunity is available for an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist based in the Denver, CO area. This contract position works within an active Interventional Radiology unit located at a major medical center in Aurora. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures including basic IR lines, drains, and complex interventions such as tumor ablations, SIRspheres, and spine jacks.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team comprised of technologists and registered nurses.
• Operate GE imaging equipment and work within a Meditech electronic medical records system.
• Maintain clear communication while managing patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.
• Respond to on-call duties as required during night shifts.

Qualifications:

• Must possess VI (Vascular Interventional) certification or CVIR (Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology) credentials.
• Preferred candidates will have neuro experience or background in thrombectomy centers.
• Strong teamwork skills along with the ability to manage stressful clinical situations effectively.
• Enthusiastic, proactive personality with excellent communication abilities.
