Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and support endpoint solutions using Microsoft Intune, PowerShell and Microsoft Cloud / SaaS tooling. Assist in migration work away from on-premises software to cloud native solutions. Develop, test, and maintain scripts and automation for device management and security compliance. Contribute to the optimisation of engineering processes, knowledge management, and continuous learning. Participate in problem solving and troubleshooting for the End User Computing environment and related applications. Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to strengthen our endpoint management capabilities. Respond quickly and effectively to production issues and take responsibility for seeing those issues through resolution Facilitate knowledge sharing by creating and maintaining detailed, comprehensive documentation. Support and mentor less experienced colleagues within the team. Maintain an expert level of knowledge in area of expertise by maintaining certifications current, attending seminars or though other related activities Work with the wider IT department to ensure the quality of coordinated projects and business needs Essential Skills & Experience
Significant experience in endpoint engineering, configuration, or support within a MSP, SaaS or enterprise environment. Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Intune for device management. Advanced experience and knowledge in PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting. Expert knowledge of the Windows 11 operating system. Familiarity with SCCM, AAD/Entra, AD, MS365, MS Defender, Azure and licensing. Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and multitasking abilities. Understanding and application of ITIL principles and practices, and how they relate to the goals and objectives of the organization. Exceptional customer service skills, in addition to extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all IT Infrastructure groups, peers, management, contractors, and vendors. Ability to manage high priority projects and proven ability to work successfully as part of a team at all levels. Desirable Skills
MD-102 (Endpoint Administrator Associate), AZ-104 (Azure Administrator Associate) or other relevant qualifications highly advantageous Experience with Office 365, JamF and other enterprise ready solutions. Experience with ZScaler for secure access and network protection. Knowledge of CIS Benchmarking and associated security frameworks. Background in Financial Services or Pensions. Education
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Postgraduate qualifications in advanced computer science or an MBA in Systems are advantageous. Behavioural Attributes
