Position Overview

Larga Baffin is seeking motivated individuals for summer employment in all Larga Baffin departments. Some of the various positions are Administrative Assistants, Client Care Coordinators, and Building Maintenance Assistants.

Who Can Apply

Persons of Inuit ancestry will be given preference (s.16(1) CHRA) and must be between 15 and 30 years of age. Individuals with some experience working in a professional office environment with a strong client service focus are considered an asset. Must have some knowledge and understanding of Inuit issues; strong verbal and written communication skills; and the ability to interpret material and policies for general and Inuit clients. English is the working language although the ability to communicate effectively in any Inuktitut language would also be an asset.
