Job description

The Inventory Coordinator records, receives, tags, assigns, and releases all assets, including consumables, that were purchased, constructed, or transferred. He/she ensures that items are stored properly and that items stored are returned when borrowed. He/she conducts and ensures that the physical inventory of all assets is performed and disposes items in accordance with procedures. He/she coordinates with the proper personnel for easy repairs and construction (i.e., changing light bulbs) and facilitates the transmittal of items and documents.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is required for this position.
  • Experience in educational institution inventory management is preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
