Job Overview:
As an Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's inventory processes to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize wastage, and support the company's growth objectives. You will coordinate with suppliers, warehouse teams, and sales to maintain a seamless supply chain and enhance overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Planning & Control:
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to meet sales demand while minimizing excess stock.
- Monitor stock levels regularly and forecast future inventory needs based on sales trends, seasonality, and market demand.
Stock Management:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels using ERP or inventory management systems.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
Supply Chain Coordination:
- Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of stock.
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics to optimize delivery schedules and reduce lead times.
Warehouse Oversight:
- Oversee warehouse operations to ensure proper storage, handling, and safety protocols.
- Optimize warehouse layout for efficient space utilization and quick access to stock.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze inventory data to identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and take corrective actions.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory status, discrepancies, and projections for management review.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in e-commerce or retail sectors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
