About the role

The Inventory Specialist will join Supply Chain, responsible for accurate Netsuite inventory data, managing inventory transactions, and coordinating stock counts across all Chrysos sites to support deployment, maintenance, and operational needs.

What you will do
  • Facilitate and resolve inventory transaction errors, including receipts, adjustments, and consumption issues.
  • Conduct pre-count stock analysis to validate data accuracy and ensure all required inventory transactions are completed, coordinating with local personnel to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Validate inventory is consumed, transferred, or written off to the correct cost centres and locations.
  • Coordinate stock counts across all inventory locations, including warehouses and deployment sites.
  • Support cycle count activities, including scheduling, data validation, post-count analysis, and assisting with any counting duties as required.
  • Investigate and reconcile stock variances, providing root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Create, update, and maintain item master data with correct categorisation and attributes.
  • Troubleshoot Netsuite inventory issues such as negative stock, lost stock, and incorrect transactions.
  • Support Bills of Materials (BOMs) management, including updates, revisions, and deployment-related changes.
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse, procurement, and production teams to improve inventory processes.
  • Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for inventory control processes.
  • Provide Netsuite inventory training and support to operational teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in inventory accuracy, master data quality, and system utilisation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with demand planning, procurement, warehouse, production, and maintenance teams to ensure inventory processes, system data, and material availability support operational and business needs.
  • Team Support - Act as a backup for purchasing functions by analysing inventory levels and placing purchase orders to maintain adequate stock.
  • Other duties as delegated by the Manager.
Who you are

Essential

  • Demonstrated experience in inventory or stock control within a warehouse, manufacturing, or technical operations environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory processes, data accuracy, and master data management within an ERP system.
  • Ability to analyze inventory data, identify discrepancies, and troubleshoot issues such as negative stock and transaction errors.
  • Ownership of stock count and cycle count activities, including coordination, support, and reconciliation to ensure accurate inventory outcomes.
  • High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills to resolve inventory, BOM, and transaction-related issues.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with warehouse, procurement, production, demand planning, and maintenance teams.
  • Proactive and organized approach with the ability to manage priorities, maintain data integrity, and drive continuous improvement in inventory processes.
  • Commitment to workplace health, safety, and compliance.

Desirable

  • Experience in a heavy industrial, mining, or technology manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP (NetSuite) and office productivity tools (e.g., SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Slack, ).
  • Exposure to global operations and multi-site inventory support.
