Job Description
As a Localization Engineer – IoT, you’ll support global readiness of connected devices, mobile apps, and cloud components through scalable localization workflows.
Responsibilities
Prepare IoT firmware, device UI strings, and app content for localization.
Build and maintain automation/scripts for device and app localization workflows.
Work with linguists, PMs, and embedded engineers on integration.
Troubleshoot encoding, parsing, and platform-specific issues.
Validate localized firmware, device screens, and app UI.
Document workflows, tools, and localization standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s preferred.
2–4+ years in localization engineering, IoT, embedded systems, or similar.
Strong knowledge of localization workflows and formats (JSON, XML).
Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
