IoT Security Consultant

• Evaluate Customer Security requirements with customer project team and clarify open points with OEM.
• Develop Security Concept, identify the gap between Customer Security Requirements & Security platform and perform Threat & risk assessment to identify the remaining residual risk in customer project.
• To work with the customers’ security organizations as well as project development team and its managers to ensure product security is maintained and documented.
• To Identify, plan, establish, coordinate and monitor the security activities identified in the process throughout the product development life cycle.
• Provide technical support to development team, collaborate on incident response and customer complaints related to security issues.
• Plans and executes security related tests with customer project team.
• Beyond the scope of product engineering, consider the impacts on production and In-Field Use Cases, e.g : return analysis.
• Single point of contact for all product security related queries in customer project.

• Experience in Embedded Software Development with good understanding of Product Development Life Cycle [System/Hardware/Software] in IoT solutions.
• Knowledge on Software Security, Hardware based Security in IoT based embedded systems.
• Knowledge on security techniques, standards and state-of-the art capabilities for authentication and authorization, applied cryptography and security vulnerabilities.
• Hands on experience in developing cryptographic primitives like AES, CMAC, RSA, ECC, TLS, IpSec, SecOC etc
• Strong proficiency in programming languages - Embedded C.
• Hands on experience with debuggers, compilers.
• Should have detailed knowledge on microcontrollers / microprocessors architectures.
• Strong analysis and debugging skills.
• Experience in scripting languages like Shell / Perl / Python / Make etc.,
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be a self-starter, self-learner.
• Experience in configuration management systems & defect tracking tools.
• Hardware security modules (HSM, TPM, ARM trust zones).
• Working knowledge of security libraries like OpenSSL, LibreSSL.
• Hands on experience with Trusted execution environments (ARM trust zones , HSM, TPM).
• Driver/Firmware development for CSE (SHE peripherals), e-fuse drivers.
• Knowledge / experience with Quality process & Safety-standards such as ASPICE/CMMI, ISO 26262 is a plus.
• C++ and Java programming skills will be an added advantage.
