IoT Software Engineer

Join our client as an IoT Software Engineer and play a key role in delivering innovative IoT systems. You'll design, develop, and maintain backend systems, integrate sensors and edge devices, and ensure secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for large-scale IoT deployments in government projects.
This role also offers hands-on experience with hardware–software integration, API design, system monitoring, and cybersecurity best practices, perfect for someone looking to grow their IoT expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud-hosted backend services and APIs using
• Configure and manage communication protocols like MQTT and TCP for reliable device connectivity.
• Build solutions compatible with AWS Greengrass, Azure IoT Hub, or similar cloud IoT frameworks.
• Deploy and manage IoT devices, sensors, and gateways for both field and production environments.
• Troubleshoot and optimize backend systems for high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with frontend, cloud, and data engineering teams to ensure smooth system integration and robust data pipelines.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proficient in backend development with (and Python is a plus).
• At least 1 year of experience in IoT backend system development.
• Hands-on experience with sensors, microcontrollers, and various communication/network protocols.
• Strong understanding of embedded programming, device-level debugging, and hardware–software integration.
