IF YOU ARE

  • Experienced with some IoT-relevant technologies: MQTT brokers, embedded programming, distributed systems, microservices architecture, infrastructure automation, edge processing, fleet observability, or wireless communications
  • Successfully working with software and hardware lifecycles
  • Strong in object-oriented software
  • Confident in leading or mentoring a technical team
  • Experienced in recognizing architectural patterns and solutions associated with those patterns
  • Understanding tradeoffs between IoT offerings from the cloud and other IoT solution vendors
  • Professional with SEI Software Architecture and ATAF
  • Having publication(s) in the field of IoT cloud or devices, formal or informal
  • Knowledgeable of Linux OS (ARM and x86)
  • Familiar with hypervisors
  • Proficient with hardware root of trust and PKI
  • Hands-on with applying network theory and wireless communications
  • Competent in infrastructure automation tools
  • A Certified Professional from at least one cloud provider
  • Possessing excellent communication skills, including fluency in German, and an upper-intermediate level in English

  • Guide a team on large and strategic solutions for high-profile opportunities
  • Drive architectural service executions such as Discovery and Assessment
  • Collaborate with business and non-technical stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements and communicate technical constraints and decisions to business
  • Facilitate cooperation of all the stakeholders, define and prioritize architectural drivers for the solution
  • Cooperate with other architects and technology experts to produce solid architectural decisions
  • Drive and coordinate technical staff discussions
  • Elaborate system quality attributes such as performance, scalability, availability, fault-tolerance, security, deployment, maintainability, and others
  • Translate customers’ business, functional, and non-functional requirements into high-quality solution architecture visions and operations plans consistent with enterprise architectural standards using Attribute-Driven Design
  • Define architecture strategies, standards, processes, technologies, and tools in architectural visions
  • Drive or assist in solution implementation, estimation, and roadmap construction
  • Analyze, model, document, and assess existing software architectures according to the Architecture Trade-off Analysis methodology
  • Act as an expert and consult development teams on adherence to standards in solution design, development, and testing
  • Clearly convey technical ideas to the development and operations teams
