IP Validation Engineer

As IP Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for the overall bring-up and characterization of our IP and SoC. You will set up the lab environment and develop the software toolset necessary to perform all tests and characterization. You will also author and review silicon test and characterization reports, and work closely with Application Engineers to support customer inquiries and debug.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Evaluation of TSS’s high-speed PHY designs in an electronics lab environment
• Work with cross-functional teams in defining test experiments, data collection, and diagnostic analysis
• Develop test methodologies, define test plans, and improvements to current test practices
• Use bench lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, BERTs, etc.
• Develop software suites for platform control, hardware interaction, data analysis, and automated silicon test suites
