Job Description

As an IP/Console Design Release Engineer, you will spearhead engineering design evaluations and concept development for global vehicle programs. You will leverage engineering tools and collaborate with CAE groups to optimize system solutions, ensuring the integration of new technology and innovative designs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering design evaluations and concept development across global vehicle programs.
  • Use engineering tools and collaborate with CAE groups, including Safety Performance, to develop optimal system solutions.
  • Assess design to manufacturing processes such as injection molding, vibration welding, vacuum forming, and more for instrument panels and consoles.
  • Evaluate manufacturing processes for IP Structures, including stamping, extrusion, robotic welding, die casting, and hybrid concepts.
