IR Technologist in Concord, NC

This opportunity offers a 6-week contract position for an Interventional Radiology Technologist located in Concord, NC. The role is suited for skilled imaging professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, high patient acuity setting, supporting a diverse patient population including adults and pediatrics. The department operates with advanced imaging technology such as Siemens single-plane and bi-plane systems, and Cannon bi-plane equipment, utilizing EPIC as the electronic medical record system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform interventional radiology procedures with confidence and precision.
• Collaborate effectively within a diverse team, including new graduates and experienced technologists.
• Participate in call rotations that are fairly shared among staff, including full-time, part-time, PRN, and travelers.
• Assist with holiday coverage as required, with advance approval options.
• Adhere to departmental protocols and maintain high standards of patient care and safety.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in interventional radiology.
• Registered ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) certification required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, cooperative attitude.
• Ability to function efficiently in a high-volume, dynamic clinical environment.

Schedule & Shift Details:

• 10-hour Day Shifts, 0800 1700
• No weekend rotation; travelers work consistent shifts per contract.
• On-call duties rotated fairly among staff.
• Holiday coverage expected unless pre-approved off.
