Irrigation Maintenance 1

School District No. 73 (Kamloops-Thompson) is currently accepting applications for the position of Irrigation Maintenance 1. This is a full-time, permanent position, working 10 months per year (Layoff period: January/February). Following successful completion of the probationary period, the incumbent will be eligible for Extended Health and Dental Benefits, as well as Group Life Insurance. School District No. 73 belongs to the Municipal Pension Plan. Under the limited supervision of the Manager of Grounds, the incumbent is required to carry out a variety of skilled/semi-skilled tasks associated with the installation, repair and maintenance of irrigation systems located throughout the School District. Work is varied and requires independent judgement and initiative.
