Team Member – Location :City Operations (Irrigation Maintenance)

About the Role:

As part of the Parks & Landscapes team, this role is responsible for maintaining Council’s irrigation systems across parks, streetscapes, and sportsgrounds to ensure efficiency, safety, and water use effectiveness. The role supports the city’s visual appeal and contributes to a safe, functional urban environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain pressurised and central control irrigation systems.
• Undertake regular inspections, audits, and reactive repairs.
• Set up and manage flow systems and watering schedules, ensuring alignment with seasonal needs and recycled water limitations.
• Train and support team members in irrigation best practices.
• Maintain turf surfaces to a safe standard and report on turf health.
