Irrigation Technician

Performs installation,maintenance, and repairs of large, commercial irrigation systems and related
components, including new irrigation pumps, motors, flow meters, hydraulic
pressure control valves, timers, jockey pumps, low-voltage electrical wiring,
and decorative fountains. Monitors
timers and water meters to ensure they remain within the recommended usage
limits. Responsible
for the safe and efficient operation of equipment/pumps, and for making the
necessary maintenance checks. Interprets blueprints, schematics, and
operation manuals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification;
minimum of three (3) years of experience working with large irrigation or
sprinkler systems or related plumbing equipment.
