SRK Consulting is an international independent employee‑owned consulting practice, providing integrated consulting services to the resource sector.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic IT professional with 5+ years to join our skilled IT team providing internal IT, networking and infrastructure support working within a Microsoft environment.

Our successful candidate will provide support to all levels of our business, ensuring that our tech is functioning as intended, mentor team members, supporting their technical development, and contribute to internal Best Practice through liaising with colleagues around the world.

Our successful candidate will be based in our Perth office.

In This Role You Can Expect To

• Provide Level 2-3 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Take ownership to resolve user issues, escalating where necessary and record outcomes.
• Manage Windows computers via Intune.
• Experience with Windows Servers, Hyper‑V, networking, wifi and backups.
• Microsoft 365 administrator experience – Active Directory, Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, Intune, Defender and Office suite.
• Hands‑on experience with a range of hardware and software.
• Diagnose network‑related issues (DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi‑Fi).
• Linux exposure.
• Microsoft Azure Management experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms and Audio‑visual networking.
• Fortinet environment knowledge.

Our Successful Candidate Will Have

• Qualifications in Information Technology and/or current Microsoft certifications.
• At least 5 years experience in an IT support role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Language fluency in English.
• Knowledge and/or interest in Machine Learning algorithms and AI technology.
• Current Australian Working rights.
